Rumors have begun to soar that Britney signed a deal for residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. This deal is rumored to be worth $100M. Britney will be following in the footsteps of two previous Divas who owned the stage at Caesars Palace, Celine Dion and Shania Twain.
According to EOnline, one source estimated to that Beyoncé was once offered $80 million for a single year of shows. Names of that caliber are known for bringing in about four times what they charge, and that's just at the Vegas box office.
According to Daren Libonati, President and COO of Justice Entertainment Group, “It wouldn’t be unheard of for an act like Spears to gross $2 million a week at Caesars Palace.”
"Deals such as this are based on scale," Libonati explains. "That's a very basic guess on what such a deal might look like. It could be even more."
According to The Mirror, Britney has agreed to a residency at Caesars Palace worth around $200 million if she stays for two years.
"This offer has been on the table for some time now and is something Britney has always wanted to do," a source close to Britney told The Mirror.
With an initial 80-date engagement, Brit is expected to rake in more than $1.1 million per show, with tickets priced at up to $800 each. She'll also have a minimum of two to three nights off per week and a luxury penthouse suite for the duration of her contract.
No official announcement from Team Britney has been made, so until there’s an official press release, this is all just a rumor.
