Britney back in the studio after the Holidays


With her The Circus Starring Britney Spears tour ending Sunday night, the pop princess' team has decided to keep the momentum going. After breaking for the holidays, Brit is going into the studio in January to work on a new album.

Brit's last album, Circus, debuted one year ago today. It was her sixth studio album, and her fifth to debut number one on the Billboard 200. She's obviously hoping this next effort will be lucky #7. The goal for release is June, 2010.

The Final Act Of The Circus Starring Britney Spears Tour


Hard to believe that The Circus Tour is actually coming to an end...

After touring North America, Europe and Australia for 8 months and 96 shows later, the Ringleader will, for the last time, present The Circus.

It's been an amazing journey and all of us fans are so happy and proud of what Britney has accomplished. Thank you Britney for putting on this amazing show for us all and congratulations to you and your team on the success of The Circus.

5. Blackout - Britney Spears (SonyBMG, 2007)
The title was pertinent enough - Spears had shaved her head and was in and out of rehab when this vocally scrunched, harshly metallic album appeared. No one expected it to be this good.
