Ciara can't wait to open for Britney

ShowbizzSpy.com: Singer Ciara insists she can’t wait to support Britney Spears on the European leg of her Circus world tour.

The 1, 2 Step hitmaker says joining the Toxic star on-stage will be her “biggest” challenge.

“Supporting Britney Spears in the UK this summer will be my biggest challenge yet,” she said. “I’m looking forward to sharing the stage and rocking out with Brit.

“I’ve got some amazing outfits to rival her own. The round Circus-themed stage is so much work as you really have to make full use of the space.

“But I’m definitely going to give you 100 per cent in effort and energy.”

Confirmed: Radar is the 4th single

From BritneySpears.com:

BritneySpears.com can confirm that 'Radar' will be the fourth single off of Britney's platinum-selling album, 'Circus'.

Hey, look, it's a good thing! Radar is one hot track and I'm sure The Circus Tour made you all fall in love with it over again. Plus, it was a contractual agreement between Jive and Bloodshy that Radar had to be a single for Blackout, which, as we all know, never happened. Now just imagine the sick video we'll get!

The Circus in Montreal - My review

And so this it it... The first North American leg of The Circus Tour is now officially over. Britney's been on the road for 2 months, performing about 40 concerts in the US and Canada. And what a show she puts on.

So yesterday, I attended the very last concert of this 1st leg of the tour in Montreal. It was exciting in a way to know it was the last show until June. I knew Britney would want to make it perfect and just have a blast on stage with her dancers. And yes, this is exactly what happened. She smiled throughout the entire concert and the chemistry between her and the dancers was just obvious. They all seem closer than ever.

First thing, I got there, bought items I didn't buy the last times I attended The Circus. I finally got myself to buy the Britney Pop Corn. Yay! For some reasons, it tastes better than any other Pop Corn, like, ever...

I got to my seat in the 4th row, between the center ring and one of the other smaller rings. Perfect seat, once again. I was alone this time around because, well, my friends all accompanied me on previous concert dates and I'm one special Britney freak you see... They didn't want to follow once again. It's cool though because I really got to just enjoy myshttp://www.ubritney.com/news/index.php?mod=editnews&action=listelf and totally focus on the show.

So Girlicious took the stage. I honestly don't know much about them. Their songs, their names... Nothing. I had no idea what to expect at all. And even though I wish The Pussycat Dolls would've opened again, I was happy to see a different opening number this time around as I've seen the Dolls 3 times already. Anyway, Girlicious didn't do anything special at all... Just the 4 of them on the center ring. They did fine but something was missing. I don't know... It seems like they just put on their CD, walked around the stage and repeated the same dance moves again and again. But hey, that's just me, right? They were good in their own way and warmed up the crowd well. Everytime they'd ask if we were ready for Britney Spears, everyone would go crazy, of course.

So the girls ended their set and walked off-stage. I must say they were generous with the fans because they stopped to take pictures, sign autographs and so on.

While waiting for The Big Apple Circus to take the stage, I spotted many of Britney's dancers walk around the stage. Jose, the Womanizer, came right next to me to chat with some friends (see picture in update below). He seems like a totally cool guy. I also spotted Brett once again, walking from under the stage to the other backstage area. She was sweet as usual. Brit's bodyguards were also walking around the entrance to go under the stage.

After a few minutes, the lights came down and The Big Apple Circus got on stage with the performers doing their thing. They were absolutely amazing, once again. They're talented people, seriously! They got done with their set and walked off-stage. That's when all of Britney's dancers, wearing black capes to hide their outfits, made their way under the stage.

The girls from Girlicious joined the fans in the VIP GA area to watch the show. One of them, the blonde girl, walked right by me to go get something to drink. She was sweet and cute. She smiled and waved at fans.

That's when the lights came down once again, with the crowd going absolutely wild, screaming, cheering... I started wondering how Britney was feeling, knowing it was the last concert before a while...

The video with Perez was on with the fans screaming even louder, if that's possible. And there she was, coming down from the ceiling, with that radiant smile on her face. She just seemed happy and excited to be there. It was really touching to see her like that. It was like her saying: "Yes, I made it this far... Tonight's a big accomplishment. I made it all the way. The 1st leg is over!" Her eyes were just shinning. It was one intense moment.

So Circus began and I can confirm that some parts of it were totally live. She nailed every move and her dancing was intense and perfect. In a way, she seemed so much more comfortable and confident then when I first saw the show early on the tour. She was having fun and she was not worried anymore. She just knows she's back on top. Her stage is like her home, once again.

Britney interacted with the crowd before performing Everytime and dedicated the song to 'a special fellow, Garry.' She gave no further explanation as to who he is...

One of Britney's black female dancers didn't get to perform last night. I don't know why... Maybe she suffered from an injury or something. It wasn't that serious though because she did attend the show and during the dancers' dance break, she came on stage to dance a little bit with them.

Ok, I don't want to start rumors or whatever but Britney and Chase were ummm, lets say, a little flirty! Chase whispered something in Britney's ear before she performed Everytime and they held hands between Do Somethin' and Slave. Just saying though... Good friends do that, too, right?

And there we were... Only Womanizer left, already. Amazing performance! She thanked the crowd, walked around the stage a little bit and left the stage. I was really close to the place where she exited and I witnessed that huge smile of hers once again. And it was it... The show was over, with us, fans covered in confetti. That's what I call perfection.

Britney seemed to have a blast. She was smiling, making cute faces, playing with the dancers. She was in an incredible mood and she put on one amazing concert once again.

As you know, Britney's mic is on throughout the entire show and I heard her sing live a lot once again. Some parts of Circus, Boys, Radar, Me Against The Music, Everytime, Do Somethin', I'm A Slave 4 U, Toxic, Baby One More Time and Womanizer were definitely live.

And I can hardly believe it's over already... It's been amazing to get to see her many times on this tour. I feel really blessed. It's been great traveling to Canada too. You guys Canadian fans rock, you really do.

Rumor: Britney's list of demands for Dorchester Hotel

Everyone in London is excited about Britney Spears’ arrival next month for an eight-show stay at the O2 arena.

The Circus, Spears’ first arena tour in five years, began March 3 in New Orleans and wound up its U.S. and Canada dates May 5 in Montreal. The star will take a short break before taking the tour to London.

According to Billboard magazine, the tour is the second most profitable, grossing $4,062,953. Elton John’s run at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas is number one.

And when the pop tart does check in to the Dorchester Hotel, a favorite of Elizabeth Taylor’s, she’s voiced a few requests for things she’d like upon check-in. Here are some of the demands from Spears’ rider, courtesy of an employee on the hotel circuit.

---------

-A room that has “never” been smoked in at all.
-Humidifiers in all areas.
-A selection of the latest magazines.
-A fresh selection of flowers that she will then arrange herself.
-DVDs of her favorite Marilyn Monroe movies.
-Books. Ideally, topical chick lit novels.
-Lighting must be 100 watt bulbs - no low lighting.
-Running routes for nearby Hyde Park. Also, horse-riding opportunities.
-A list of different routes to the venue from the hotel to keep the paparazzi at bay.

---------

The singer will be bringing her own pillow supply. It’s nothing to do with the hotel, her staff says, it just a comfort thing.

Also, security will sleep outside her room.

Spears will check in under various names. So far one been Sugar Kane, a reference to favorite Monroe movie “Some Like it Hot.”

She has also requested tickets for various West End shows, including the Michael Jackson musical “Thriller,” but it’s unclear if the seats are for her or the dancers.

Also, she’s more than keen to take in a “private ” visit to Kensington Palace - the former home of one of her icons, the late Princess Diana. My source reveals, “She travels with a picture of Diana and Marilyn at all times and thinks they are great, powerful women.”

Finally, the singer won’t relocate for her subsequent shows in Manchester. Spears will still be staying at the Dorchester and travel by plane to the concerts.

Britney's boys to join her for European Circus Tour

OKMagazine.com: Two months ago, when Britney Spears embarked on her first concert tour in almost five years, she was joined by two of her biggest - and littlest! - supporters: her young sons Jayden James and Sean Preston.

And now that Brit is wrapping up the North American leg of her tour, OK! can exclusively reveal that the pop superstar will continue to have her boys cheering her on when she heads to Europe in June.

In an exclusive interview in the next issue of OK! - on sale everywhere Thursday - Mark Vincent Kaplan, attorney for Brit's ex-husband Kevin Federline reveals that his client is "more than happy to help facilitate Britney being able to see the boys on the European leg of the tour."

Kaplan admits that, though Kevin has custody of the two boys, he realizes that Britney "should not have to sacrifice visits with her boys while pursuing her career. Kevin has even been able to make sure that Britney can maintain the boys' regular schedule, even though she's on tour."

For the entire story - including the family's living arrangements - be sure to pick up the next issue of OK!, on sale everywhere Thursday.
